It's the first anniversary for our blog.
It was 10.30pm when I looked into my watch. The longer needle kept ticking. Each tick counts down to my birthday.
There will be a lot of sms/calls coming in later but only one that really matters most to me.
It's 11.00pm, I held onto my handphone for one hour already now. I can hear my own heart beat. It was around this time last year when she called me & then appeared infront of my house. I was hoping the same would happen this year but it didn't.
It's 11.30pm now. My heart beat sound became louder and louder. Staring at my handphone. Thousands of thoughts running through my mind right at the moment.
I continued waiting for the special ringtones to emerged.
Looking at my handphone clock, it shows 11.59pm now. The situation was intense. My heart felt like exploding. What if until 12 midnight and I still could not hear the special ring tone?
It's 12.01am. No sms or that special ringtones.
I told myself that I do not believe. My handphone clock must have been faster.
Quickly I shift my attention to my watch.
Slightly relieved came into my pressured heart. It was only 11.55pm when my handphone clock was already 12.01am.
I waited again. Concentrating on the long needle ticking each degree.
It was 11.59pm & 59 seconds.
The ring tone that I wanted to hear finally came right on time.
A pool of tears was gathered around my eyes.
That voice that could make my heart melt, that could make my heart ease from the pressure.
I told myself, everything does not matter anymore as long as I still can hear her calling me wishing me Happy Birthday.
It didn't end there. The next day, I thought I'll just spend my whole day watching drama and that's it. I did not expect anything to happen.
I was wrong.
In the afternoon, she suddenly called me and told me that she was on the way and reaching my house in 10 mins time. Asked me to go down and she wanted to pass something to me.
I was suprised and anxious to see her.
I went down straight even she told me to wait after 10 mins. :P
Waited for her & I can hear my heart beat again.
I saw her car and she passed me a paper bag full of things in it.
It was my favourite Chocolate Indulgence & Cheese Cake!
Also she bought me a Giorgio Armani Perfume. I like the smell so much that I'm going to wear it everyday.
It changes everything after that.
